- Execute test plans and other quality assurance activities for the software development team.
- Coach and mentor Software Engineers on quality assistance practices. Be a fanatic in the team by continuously improving team knowledge and skills.
- Monitor, measure and improve quality metrics in the team.
- Work with other Quality Assistance Analysts and other stakeholders to develop standards and practices. Make recommendations for the team and the department to improve quality outcomes.
- Identify gaps & assist in automating the manual test effort. Use different automation tools to design, establish, and deploy effective test automation solutions.
- Estimate, prioritise, plan and perform quality focussed activities with the development team. Demonstrate effective requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle using quality assurance techniques.
- SQL proficiency & understanding of database systems;
- Ability to investigate, comprehend & communicate complex processes and systems;
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assistance, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with a mindset that questions assumptions; with a willingness to continuously help improve processes and procedures
- Able to work in a self-directed fashion while also contributing to team goals and harmony
- Excellent technical communicator, both written and verbal
